The second quarter of 2024 has seen varying trends across the top music and podcasts applications on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a glimpse into the performance of these apps.

SoundCloud: Discover New Music experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at nearly $24K in the final week of June. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight drop towards the end of the quarter, while weekly active users showed a modest decline from 530K to 536K.

YouTube Music also saw revenue peaks and troughs, with the highest at over $21K in late June. Downloads hovered around the 1.7K mark throughout the quarter, and weekly active users grew from 158K to 175K, indicating a steady increase in engagement.
